Delegation of medication administration to unlicensed persons when children are going on a field trip that crosses state lines and the practice of nurses who have single state licensure and do not have a multistate license when traveling through another state.
- Pursuant to KRS 314.101, a licensed nurse of another state who is not a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact, and is in the state on a non-routine basis can practice while in the state would be exempt from having to have a Kentucky License for this purpose. However, the nurse would be expected to understand Kentucky laws related to nursing practice while in the state.
