Depending on which position is set to expire, the following organizations make recommendations to the Governor’s Office:

  • Kentucky Nurses Association – for appointment of RN members
  • Kentucky Licensed Practical Nurses Organization Incorporated – for appointment of LPN members
  • Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders, an affiliate of the Kentucky Hospital Association
  • LeadingAge Kentucky
  • Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities

Citizens can apply to the citizens-at-large positions by completing the application for Boards and Commissions.
