APRN Reinstatement

Apply for reinstatement if you have previously held a Kentucky APRN license that has lapsed

If you failed to renew your licenses during the renewal period (annually between September 15 and October 31), you must meet all of the reinstatement requirements.

There is no grace period for renewal of a Kentucky nursing license.

If you are reinstating both a Kentucky RN and APRN license, select RN and APRN reinstatement to be routed to the correct page.

This page provides information on reinstating a Kentucky APRN license only for nurses who either hold a current Kentucky RN license or who hold a current multistate, compact RN license.
