Continuing competency requirement:

• Proof of earning 14 approved contact hours, OR
  
• Proof of earning 7 approved contact hours, PLUS a nursing employment evaluation that is satisfactory for continued employment (must be signed by supervisor with the name, address, and phone number of the employer included), and cover at least 6 months of the earning period.

APRN only Renewal Application and Fee - Use this link if you hold current, multi-state RN licensure in a COMPACT STATE. 

Continuing competency requirement:

• You must earn five (5) continuing education hours in pharmacology for this license renewal. 

Both RN and APRN Renewal Application and Fee

Continuing competency requirement:

• You must earn five (5) continuing education hours in pharmacology for this license renewal. 
• If your national certification remained current through the licensure period, you have met the CE requirement for your RN license.

APRNs:  If KBN records reflect that your national certification has expired, you will be unable to renew.  Fax a copy of current national certification to 502-782-2752 (Lvl) ONLY if KBN records reflect expired national certification.
