ARNPs and Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs

In August 2004, it was the advisory opinion of the Board that it is within the scope of advanced registered nursing practice for the ARNP designated nurse practitioner to provide coverage in a cardiac rehabilitation program if the ARNP is educationally prepared and clinically competent to carry out the act in a safe and effective manner.
