ARNP Scope of Practice - Delegation to RN or LPN the Handing of Sample Medications to a Patient
October 2010 - Following review of applicable regulations and statutes governing advanced registered nursing practice, it was the advisory opinion of the Board that it is within the scope of the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to delegate to a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse the handing of a sample medication to a patient.
