The status of any application EXCEPT renewal applications, is available from the following secure site:
- Application Status
(To validate that a license/registration has been issued go to license validation).
PLEASE NOTE: You must click on the “SEARCH” button to retrieve the information.
The date your application is received at KBN will be listed on your status information.
- Applications received by U.S. Postal Service mail will be reviewed within 14 days and Application Status will be updated.
- Additional documents received by U.S. Postal Service mail will also be reviewed within 14 days and Application Status will be updated.
- Additional documents received by fax (fax number 502-429-3336) will be reviewed within 72 hours and Application Status will be updated.
| Applications may NOT be faxed, only additional required documents.
Check the Application Status link often - updates are run daily.

To check the status of your renewal application, please go to the license validation page, put in your license number, and check the expiration date of the license.
If you have missed the renewal deadline and have submitted a reinstatement application, please use the Application Status link in the prior section above.
