Dialysis Technician Credential
In 2001, the Kentucky General Assembly passed House Bill 184 establishing authority for the Kentucky Board of Nursing to regulate dialysis technician practice, training, and credentialing. A Dialysis Technician Advisory Council was established to help facilitate the program.

DT Advisory Council Nomination |
 |
Pursuant to KRS 314.145 the Kentucky Board of Nursing is seeking nominations for appointment to the Dialysis Technician Advisory Council. There are two vacancies:
1. A Dialysis Technician 2. A nurse who regularly performs dialysis and cares for dialysis patients
The Dialysis Technician Advisory Council advises the board regarding qualifications, standards of training, competency determination of dialysis technicians and other matters related to dialysis technicians. The term of the appointment is for four (4) years.
